When I was asked to do this blog there were several things that ran through my head, why me? who told you that I could do this? can I actually do this? and whoever it was is about to get it!
In all honesty, I am very honored to have an opportunity to share, encourage and uplift individuals that will be reading this.
where does one begin? It won't be the beginning because we could be here all year!
August to December has often been the longest 5 months of the year. Why you might ask? Well, it is because it is the end of summer, the start of fall and winter and the time that I tend to reflect on the loss of my father.
The saying is true, you don't know what you've got until they are gone!
You remember just how much they have meant to you, the ups and downs you've shared, Christmas, birthdays, thanksgiving... just to name a few.
To those that have lost a loved one, take joy in knowing that you will gain strength from this. The pain will not be as great, love for family will a legacy will remain, and the grace of God will continue to give you strength through the not so bright days.
So remember God will turn your sorrows into songs, your tears into triumphs, your lows into laughter, and your grief will be covered by grace.
Love and peace to you always!
